Holiday Gift Guide: $500+

As we come upon the last day of the Gift Guide, it marks 4 days left before Christmas. I'm hoping that almost everyone has at least started on their gift hunting by now, if not, hurry up! Christmas is just around the corner!

The last and final installment for this series is always a tough one for me since $500+ is not within my personal budget to get anyone as a gift. However, I know that some of my readers out there enjoy a good splurge every once and awhile and what better time than Christmas than to go all out?
Holiday Gift Guide: $500+
  1. NIKKOR 50mm f/1.2 (Nikon) | $799.95
This is for the photographer that you're shopping for. Most have access to a 50mm f/1.8 lens since it's relatively inexpensive. But for a beautifully bokeh'd photo, a f/1.2 is always a dream to own!
  2. iPhone 6 Plus (Apple) | $859.00
If you're jonesing for a larger screen, then you might as well go all out and get the Plus model of the new iPhone 6. Personally I love the gold case against the white piping, but the person you're shopping for may not, so make sure you know what their preferences are!
  3. Alexander Wang Black Leather Lizard Embossed Anouk Boots (SSENSE) | $632.00
If the person you're shopping for likes making a statement, grab them a pair of the Anouk Boots from Alexander Wang. A peek of hardware at the heel is always the perfect amount to grab the attention of others.
  4. Pop Bracelet (Coordinates) | $3, 880.00
I love the coordinates collections since you can engrave any place on Earth onto it. This beautiful solid 14K gold piece is embelished with sterling silver that pops open at diamond studded hinges.
  5. 32mm Belt Kit (Hermes) | $880.00
The iconic H belt from Hermes is both simple and classy. It elevates even the most simple outfits and is perfect for going to work or out with friends.
Best of luck to anybody and everybody out there who is still doing their Christmas shopping! Make sure to share what you've picked up, but only after your gifts have all been opened. We don't want any spoilers on here!

Holiday Gift Guide: $400-500

As we get closer and closer towards Christmas, I can feel the stress of shoppers settling in. My office is right next to a mall, so my lunch breaks are dedicated to window shopping. It affords me the time to deal stalk and make sure that I'm getting the best prices for my Christmas gifts. I thought that I was doing pretty well by getting almost 80% of my presents in November, but come one week before Christmas and I realized that I'm still a couple presents short. A couple is exact. I need two.

What do you get someone who has everything? In short I'm going to be practical. Something that everybody needs but always hates getting, gas cards. Trust me, as tacky as it sounds, the people who I've given them to seem to always be overjoyed. But if you don't want to get tack like me, here are some more last minute gift ideas that you can pick up to please the gifted in your life!

Holiday Gift Guide: $400-500
  1. iPad Mini 3 (Apple) | $439
Get that blogger/tech saavy friend of yours the latest iPad so that they can continously stay in touch with what's happening online at any time.
  2. KENZO Tiger Embroidered Cotton Sweatshirt Dress (Net-A-Porter) | $410.00
I love the sporty elegance of a KENZO sweatshirt and when lengthened into a dress, it an easily be translated into chic winterwear with a nice pair of leather leggings. I imagine myself styling this with a cap and Cambridge Satchel to complete the look.
  3. Tory Burch Robinson Adjustable Mini Bag (Shopbop) | $440.76
It's always nice to receive something that you can use immediately. Give someone this perfectly sized bag that's big enough to carry their accessories to their NYE party this year.
  4. Tory Burch Sutton Pump (Shopbop) | $452.84
These heels ooze femininity. With lace side-panelling and caged straps, the satin cap-toe  finish make these both elegant and sexiness.
  5. Mercury Bar Cart (Anthropologie) | $498.00
There's nothing worse than curating the perfect liquor collection and not being able to show it off. This simplistic bar car gives enough room to display all the necessary bottles for a party as well as space for cups and shakers.

Holiday Gift Guide: $300-400

Holiday Gift Guide: $300-400
  1. Alexander Wang Burgundy Suede Slingback Lovisa Pumps (SSENSE) | $300.00
This beautiful pair of burgundy suede heels is currently on sale for 50% off, so hurry up! What're you waiting for?
  2. Babaton Bryan Wool Coat (Aritzia) | $350.00
This stream lined wool coat is perfect when put together with a menswear inspired outfit. I fully plan to partner it up with my favorite collared sweater (you know which one I'm talking about).
  3. ESSIE Gel Professional LED Lamp (Amazon) | $330.00
One of my tricks for keeping my at home manicures lasting longer is to seal them off with a gel top coat. I'm already madly in love with Essie polishes due to their self levelling nature, and if I can get gel polishes with the same attributes that can stay on as long as 2 weeks then why not?
  4. ix Eleven XANDIE BACKPACK (Aritzia) | $398.00
Who says that backpacks have to be basic? Bring home a leather back pack that'll ooze sophistication in your next class. We also think that this backpack would pair well with coat in #2!
  5. Baily Box (Tory Burch) | $395.00
I think that I'm on a big home decor kick now that I've got my own place. I always seem to have random junk lying around and it's just straight up unsightly when everything isn't organized. So instead of buying plastic bins from Dollarama, I'd rather invest in some nice boxes that can double up as home decor. This beautiful mother-of-pearl box is modern and clean with its straight lines, and the black and white make it an easy addition to any home.

Holiday Gift Guide: $200-300

If you followed me from my Gift Guide's last year, then you'll be familiar wtih the Clarisonic Mia that I included. I completely swear by it and have been using it for almost 5 years now. Therefore I felt that it belonged back onto my Gift Guide this year since it's been by far one of these most functional electronics that I own.

Holiday Gift Guide: $200-300
  1. Blake V Black Calf (Senso) | $259.00
Be different and show off a flash of your ankle with these adorable booties from Senso. The piping along the side is done with the edges of a zipper as opposed to a waxed edge. If silver isn't your thing and you prefer something a little bit more neutral, these booties come in a titanium finish as well.
  2. Bastille Multi-Way Stacklace (XEVANA) | $226.00
Although it appears that this necklace is pricey, it comes apart into 4 separate ones that can be stacked back together or arranged in a variety of layers to achieve multiple different necklaces. If I'm counting right, there over 25 different ways which this necklace can be worn. Don't count on my math though, I haven't studied calculus in over 3 years.
  3. Clarisonic Mia 3 Luxury Skincare Essentials Holiday Gift Set (Sephora) | $230.00
First off, this set is $145 less than it's actual value, so what you're paying for is actually a steal. Packaged with a bunch of extra products, you're going to be able to thoroughly cleanse and hydrate your skin for at least a month before needing to go out and by more products.
  4. Auxiliary Mini Bega Satchel Bag (Aritzia) | $298.00
This structured side bag is the perfect size for throwing in all of the necessary things you'd need for the day without being excessively big like a tote. It's perfect for the minimalist and its jagged edges are in tune with the modern trends.
  5. Lustrum Set (Nume) | $299.00
Generally any hot tool starts at around $100. For the cost of $300, you get 5 different barrels, which equates out to about $60 per barrel. When you think about it, it isn't all that bad. You get to save space since you won't need 5 different wants since these heads are detachable.

Holiday Gift Guide: $100-200

How has your Christmas shopping been coming along so far? Have you already finished? If not, then please tell me that you've at least started. I'm lucky to have almost completed my gift shopping by around 90% this year. I still have yet to pick up a couple of my gifts for the year, provided that they're Secret Santa gifts, they shouldn't take me too long to find! If you'v yet to find your gifts then hopefully my Gift Guides so far have provided ideas within your price range to work twith.

Holiday Gift Guide: $100-200

  1. Marc Jacobs Fragrance Daisy Eau So Fresh Gift Set (Sephora) | $125.00
One of my favorite fragrances, this one is the easiest to wear since it's so light and the floral tones aren't over powering. If you're looking for a beautiful gift set that promises delight, then definitely take your chances on this one. The person receiving your gift can even reuse the box afterwards for jewelry storage (I know I would).
  2. Cardigan 7098-CWGCM5 (OAK + FORT) | $128.00
Everyone needs a snuggly cardigan that's both thick and soft. Choose this warm neutral beige shade for an easy match with the rest of your wardrobe.
  3. Vegan Hide Rug (Urban Outfitters) | $129.00
I love the modern look of a good hide rug and even better, this rug is completely faux fur. You'll never regret putting this on the floor of your house!
  4. Short Tube Necklace (Shopbop) | $140.00
Simple yet sleek, this dainty rod set onto a delicate chain is the perfect gift for someone who likes dainty yet statement jewelry.
  5. Polished Steel / White Face with Rose Gold Indexing (The Horse) | $123.25
I can't speak more highly of this brand. With such fresh and sleek yet minimalistic designs, the price that you're paying for these pieces is a steal! They also make for a beautiful gift so if I were you, I'd stock up on as many as possible.
  6. Two-Tone Fur Throw (Zara Home) | $199.00
A fur throw is always the perfect complement to a well made bed. I especially like the white tone of this one that gives it an elegant air (also perfect for reflecting against the cooler wniter weather).

Holiday Gift Guide: $50-100

As we move up the budget ladder, some new things are popping up on the gift guide. One of my favorite places to go with P in the winter is to visit our local outdoor spa, Nordik, and have a dip in their heated pools, sit in their saunas and have a relaxing massage. What's fantastic is that the spa also offers gift cards that can be redeemed at any value so you could essentially pay for a variety of services as a gift to a stressed out friend or significant other!

  1. Spa Gift Certificate (Le Nordik) | $xx.xx
I've often picked up gift certificates for friends just to enjoy the baths, which comes out to about $60-70. Considering that you can spend upwards of 2-3 hours there just at the bathes, the value is pretty good.
  2. 2015 Desk Diary Coral French Goatskin Leather (Graphic Image) | $98.00
Even after finishing my degree, life is so hectic that it's good to write down appointments and meetings. You can also look back at past agendas as a sort of memoir of your past to help jog your memory. This lovely leather bound 365 day diary serves well as both a planner and journal, and comes in a variety of beautiful shades as well.
  3. Cedar Street Dot Passport Holder (Kate Spade) | $78.00
Depending on what renewal plan you select, you only get a new passport every 5-10 years. If you travel a lot, then you know what a toll your passport takes being shoved in and out of bags. Protect its cover (okay just mask the ugly cover) with this adorably polka-dotted holder and you'll be the bell of the ball at customs.
  4. Holiday Coffret (Diptyque) | $98.00
Although I love candles and Diptyque, I could never justify spending this much on wax. Receiving as gifts though, I'd take them any day!
  5. Tory Burch Eau de Parfum Spray 1.7 oz (Sephora) | $92.00
This beautifully deep scent smells amazing on everyone. The rich scent emotes a luxurious feel and both calms and soothes your senses.

How far into your gifting list have you made it?

Holiday Gift Guide: Under $50

It's that time of the year again where we've begun counting down the days until Christmas and we're left scrambling for last minute gifts. If you haven't already planned out who exactly you've got to shop for and made a list of gift ideas (not me!), then you're in luck as I bring to you my annual gift guide! I decided to switch it up this year and work upwards as opposed my usual decrease in value. Hopefully my gift guides will supply you with enough ideas to help you out with your shopping this year.

Holiday Gift Guide: Under $50

  1. Candle Snuffer (Diptyque) | $38.00
I dislike blowing out candles with a passion since it counteracts the nice smell that was just wafting through my room with the smell of burnt wicks. So to make it a little bit classier, instead of just blowing out the candle, I'd love to be able to put it out with a candle snuffer.
  2. Hand Creams of Provence (L'Occitane) | $50.00
Winter weather tends to dry out my hands, creating fragile skin that easily cracks and bleeds (is that TMI?). I tend to become OCD with moisturizing, but having oily hands is just not desirable either. I've found that L'Occitane hand creams leave my hands amazingly soft but without that oily residue, making it perfect for a girl who's constantly at a computer or camera all day long.
  3. Confetti Dot iPhone Case (Kate Spade) | $40.00
Make a statement with this adorably simple phone case that's adorned with reflective glitter. Less definitely is more when it comes to glitter!
  4. Fireside Long Jane Pajama (Victoria's Secret) | $39.50
One of my favorite things to get for Christmas besides fuzzy socks (no shame for wanting fuzzy socks) is receiving a pair of comfortable pajamas. There's nothing better than a new pair of PJ's, and with the recent jogger trend, you can definitely transition the bottoms into a pair of comfy joggers for day wear.

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

Bi-Weekly Round Up

These past two weeks have been a whirlwind of change for me. Although overall it has mostly be rewarding, I would be lying if I didn't admit that there have been some downs. Besides having to quit a job and breaking my Clarisonic, I'd have to say that these few moments really have made my past two weeks into a much better adventure than it all really felt at those particular moments.

Bi-Weekly Photo Round Up
Is it weird to say that rolling down a hill in a giant hamster ball has always been on my bucket list? If you want to experience what I did, definitely make sure to check out the Aqua OGO craziness at the Horseshoe Resort in Barrie, ON.

A couple of weekends ago I also finally learnt how to do a properly structured wine tasting. Now I can act pretentious in a restaurant and really know what I'm doing without making a fool of myself! Just kidding.

http://www.horseshoeresort.com/

Last weekend my family and I played a total of 3 rounds of mini putt at completely different courses. Never had I seen my family so competitive yet so excited!

Ending the weekend with an amazing fireworks display over the Niagara Falls is never a let down.

Fun Fact: I used to be deathly afraid of fireworks as a child!

So all of the Winners in Ottawa have apparently been neglected of this fantastic bi-annual event, The Runway. I had my pick of the crop (well not really, we were 3 days post the start of the event), and managed to score myself a beautiful pair of new shoes!

I fully justified my purchase to myself and this definitely was a celebratory shopping trip, so in the end it was all worth it. But I mean seriously, look at all of those goodies! Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin, I can't believe that these didn't sell out on the first day! Any guesses as to which pair I picked up and which pair I'm dying to go back for?

August Lust Listt

August Lust Listt

Summer's not yet over but it might as well be. The frigid August days have made everyday feel more and more like fall. Thankfully this September I won't be going back to studying like I have for the past 17 years. Being on my own and working has been breathe of freedom from the student lifestyle. All the clothes that I've ever purchased in the past can finally be worn as opposed to sweats. The workaholic lifestyle definitely suits me, and I can't wait to add these pieces to my collection.

  1. Nikon 50mm f/1.4D AF Nikkor Lens (Nikon) - $399.95
I've been dying to get my hands on this lens for awhile now. I'm currently using an f/2.8 and it's not providing me with the desired results.
  2. Calisch Cross Body Bag (Auxiliary) - $250.00
Although a Céline version has always been on my mind, this one is more within my budget and just as beautiful.
  3. Jumper (Topshop) - $90.00
Now I'm not one for overalls but for something as basic and clean as this, I just have to have for the autumn.
  4. Asymmetrical Cut Slip-On (Zara) - $39.90
A simple silhouette constructed out of a metallic polyurethane is exactly what the doctor called for.
  5. Premium Floral Biker Jacket (Topshop) - $136.00
Floral for the summer, then why not floral for the fall? The thick material of this jacket is perfect for keeping out the cold as the weather turns while the floral reminds me of better days.
  6. Graphic Print Storm Flap Duster Coat (Topshop) - $158.00
After years of owning well-fitted peacoats and down jackets, it's time to try something a little bit different. For the past year I've had my eye on a boxy dust coat yet none of the styles have quite caught my eye until this one.
  7. High Heeled Ankle Strap Sandal (Zara) - $79.90
My love for metallics extends beyond flats. The ankle strap trend is strong and combined with shade of titanium, perfection in a heel awaits.
  8. Crêpe Culottes (Topshop) - $75.00
Originally I wasn't a fan of the gaucho style pant, but after writing a piece on them for work, I've started to fall in love with the style, especially in this color.

July LustListt

I know I'm pushing it a little bit late here with the LustListt for this month, but better late than never right? I've been feeling a little bit sporty chic this month with comfortable but fashionable pieces. I'm loving all of the boxy silhouettes and sexy cutouts in unexpected places. The vibrant pops of color against a clean white slate makes the designs stand out against a fresh palette.

July LustListt

  1. Textured Weave Top (H&M) - $39.95
This textured crop top would look great with a pair of loose silk shorts. Oh what's that, do we spot a super cute pairing below? If shorts aren't your thing, try a neoprene flared midi skirt for a feminine silhouette.
  2. Decker Hat (Aritzia) - $35.00
Baseball hats are popular again, but to stay ahead of the league (no pun intended haha), try rocking a leather version.
  3. Montrouge Shorts (Aritzia) - $42.50
I've been dying to get my hands on a pair of these silk crepe shorts and if I could snatch the textured weave top pictured above it, it would make the perfect outfit.
  4. Short Floral Print Blazer (Zara) - $49.99
The linen construction of the blazer makes it the perfect boxy cut over slinky tank. Pair it with matching shorts for a more office appropriate look or baggy shorts for a street chic style.
  5. Cut-out Back Top (H&M) - $29.95
A giant keyhole cutout in the back would be perfect way to display a sneak peek of a cute sports bra. Take a cue from #7.
  6. Crêpe Top (H&M) - $39.95
The contrasting piping adds a sleek touch to this simple but feminine white to. Paired together with a pair of black shorts and baseball cap and you'll be ready for a perfect summer's day.
  7. Rasa Bra (Aritzia) - $30.00
I've had this bra on my radar for the longest time ever. If only I didn't have the ittiest bittiest titties then it would fit me perfectly. But hey, a girl can lust right?
  8. Poppin' Signature Pen (Chapters) - $14.00
Okay, yes, this isn't fashion but I do write a lifestyle blog. Writing utensils are essential to a blogger when planning out posts and creating content so I couldn't leave out this cute white pens.

March Lustlistt

You know that Spring is around the corner when Daylight Time's Savings creeps up on you, but not in a good way. This weekend, we lose one hour of sleep, however we gain one hour of sunlight. Even though it won't officially be Spring until the 21st, I'm already feeling the pastels slowly creeping their way back into my wardrobe and outfits. A S/S2014 trend that I noticed on the runway was a lot of grey, pink and white dominated outfits. I'm not usually a pink-wearer so I fully intend to try and incorporate this color into my closet as a means to re-acquaint myself with color.

  1. Pineapple Drop-In - Bath & Body Works | $14.50
In the process of redecorating my room, I've discovered some adorable candle holders. Summer is coming soon, meaning that anything tropically related is on my radar. I was also told that apparently pineapples are lucky!
  2. Oliver Trench Coat - Babaton (Aritzia) | $295
It's funny how when the temperatures drop close to zero at the end of the summer, everyone races for their parkas. Yet when the temperatures rise to zero at the end of winter, we rejoice by stepping out in t-shirts! Sometimes though, when the days start cold, you need a coat to keep you warm as the sun rises. It can get quite inconvenient having to carry a heavy parka around with you all day if you only need it for a few short hours in the morning.
  3. Limited Edition Rosa Mundi Candle - Diptyque (Sak's) | $74.90
What better a way to usher in Spring than with a splash of rose in the air?
  4. Nirvana White - Elizabeth and James (Sephora) | $90.00
What caught my eye first wasn't the scent, but the structure of the bottle. Instead of a typical glass bottle, this peony scented perfume is housed in an opaque white bottle with gold trim. Beautifully sophisticated, you won't only smell nice, but your decor will look beautiful too.
  5. Florica Blush Biker Leather Jacket - Mackage | $740.00
I absolutely love this shade of pink, it's not an in-your-face Barbie pink and not too subtle that it looks non-existent. Pair it with a grey tank and white pants and you'll have the perfect outfit for this season!
  6. Aden Dress - Talula (Aritzia) | $135
The stretch waist of this dress is extremely forgiving, which is necessary for the non-stop patio weekends.
  7. Minna Hat - Talula (Aritzia) | $30.00
I've been on the hunt for a decent beach hat to take with me to Greece, and this one is very close to hitting the mark. If you've also been considering ombreing your hair but haven't yet been able to take the plunge, the unique ombre effect of this hat is an easy way to test it out without the long-term commitment!
  8. Marcello T-Shirt - La Notte (Aritzia) | $35.00
Parody T's were huge this past year, and I love the way Aritzia recreated YSL's logo using currency symbols.
  9. Skurar Candle Holder - Ikea | $1.99
The lace cutouts on this candle holder create delicate floral shadows in the dark when illuminated by a candle. I purchased not only this size but a larger one for my B&BW 3-wick candles, everything needs to be white for me this season!
  10. Ideal Candle Dish - Ikea | $6.99
Is it weird that I want this dish not for candles, but to store nail polish?

February LustListt

Where did the January LustListt go you ask? Nowhere, that's where. In between enjoying all of my Christmas gifts and Boxing Day sales, it didn't feel right lusting after any more things. There's a fine line between materialistic and wanting things. Every year, Christmas reminds me of how lucky I am to have a great family and set of friends that support and spoil me year round. I'm truly grateful for their continuous support and January just isn't the right time for me to want more.

But now that February has arrived, I've obviously gotten a little tired of the Canadian winter weather and am in the process of planning a trip to a warmer climate with a friend. That being said, color is back in its rotation of my LustListt, as are swim suits!

  1. BDG Cuffed Rib-Knit Beanie in Lime - BDG (Urban Outfitters) | $19.00
I love a neon beanie to brighten up any outfit when most of what is worn during winter are dark coats in variations of grey, black, navy blue, etc. Not only is the beanie functional but stylish as well.
  2. Roses de Chloe - Chloe (Sephora) | $85.00
Chloe's eau de perfume is my all time favourite scent that leaves a juicy and fruity scent long after the initial spritz has occurred. When Chloe released this limited edition version infused with the scent of rose, I couldn't help but automatically fall in love. The rose doesn't overwhelm the overall Chloe scent, so you still have a layer of the original perfume that lingers a little bit after the rose scent has faded.
  3. Spearmint Isabel Underwear Set - Triangl | $45.00
If you haven't been introduced to the Austrialian label Triangl, well here is your introduction. Well known for their swimwear, the company has recently launched their lingerie line in just as amazing designs and signature colors. I love the simplicity of their bra and panty sets, and with a price of $45.00 for the whole set, why not? I'm used to seeing bras priced at $45.00 upwards at Victoria Secret, so this is a steal!
  4. Blue Eyelash Lace Frill Hem Dress - Chicwish | $74.90 $63.67
I think that when lace dresses are done right, they can be beautiful. I love the vibrancy of this blue as it brightens up our current dreary winter weather. The nude "cut outs" which are actually inserts are discreetly sexy as it gives off the allure of some skin peeking out when you actually aren't.
  5. Neverfull MM in Damier Ebene - Louis Vuitton | $980.00
This bag has long been on any wishlist of mine and will soon be a resident in my closet by the end of this month. I have a habit of saving up for big splurges with sprees of shopping draught interspersed so that I can award myself a gift are certain times of the year (be it my birthday, Christmas, graduation, acceptance, etc.). As I recently completed my bachelor's degree, what better way to celebrate than to reward myself with one of the bags on my bag dream list?
  6. Live Love Laugh Expressions Pillow - Chapters | $39.50
I don't know if I've slowly domesticated recently, or if I just like the gold, but this pillow screams my name whenever I walk by it in store.
  7. 1q84 - Haruki Murakami (Chapters) | $22.80
I don't actually know what this book entails, but I've heard nothing but good things about it so I really want to read it as soon as I can! I'm currently on a book purge though and trying to rid my room of any books I haven't cared to read in the past few years, so this book won't be on rotation until the pile of novels sitting on my desk have been read through first.
  8. This pair of heeled booties are no longer available online at Zara, but I spotted a pair in store today that is still priced for sale! Sadly they weren't in my size, so that pair remained on the shelves.
  9. Coco Moonbeams Swimwear Set - Triangl | $79.00
Neoprene, mesh and metallics yes please! There isn't anything that anyone can say that would dissuade me from this 2 piece bikini set. As I've said already, I'm a huge fan of Triangl that there might as well be a cult because I'd sign up immediately!
  10. Mason Jar Cocktail Shaker - Chapters | $29.50
This is the first time I've seen a glass cocktail shaker, so I though that this was pretty cool. It's different than what anyone else usually uses so it would definitely be a conversation starter for any party that you're throwing.

November LustListt

Did I not do any Halloween related posts because I was busy? No, I'm just simply not a huge celebrator of the occasion and didn't see any purpose in dedicating a post to it simply to conform to the norms of the blogosphere. I am however a large supporter of Christmas festivities so expect a large amount of posts leading up to the holiday.

And how quickly the holiday season has crept up on us! I blame the commercial industry, at the stroke up midnight of October 31st, the Halloween costumes and decorations disappear and are replaced by anything: green, red, white and sparkly. And as the weather gets colder and the daylight hours wane, my wardrobe slowly gravitates towards more and more black.

  1. Silver Mini Ear Cuff - Ryan Storer | $223.00
I love anything sparkly for the holidays and this ear cuff is no different.  Elegant and simple, the entire Ryan Storer collection is to die for. Unfortunately this particular item is currently out of stock, however over colors and styles are readily available on his site. If only I could get my hands on this specific one for December, I'd literally coordinate all of my outfits and hairstyles around it for the entire month and thereon after!
  2. Skull Bank - Urban Outfitters | $24.00
I've been on the hunt for the perfect ceramic beige/white skull and wasn't at all successful until @hellosylvia posted this on her Instagram. This little item is on the top of my shopping list once I've completed the long list of purchase presents I need to procure for the next couple of months.
  3. Crystal Clip On Ear Cuffs - Shay Accessories (Shopbop) | $216.58
Crystal anything is on my mind. I love the simplicity and sophisticatedness these jewels can add to any simple outfit.
  4. Biker Vest - H&M | $59.95
It's black, leather and edgy. Need I say more? I don't have one definitive style and enjoy being able to test-drive the latest trends and styles from stores that offer disposable fashion. Instead of committing to a shearling vest for roughly $500+, I can bring out the rocker chic in me through this cheaper alternative and not have to worry about breaking the bank - or in this case, I can buy more clothes.
  5. Cesarino Hat - La Notte (Aritzia) | $22.00
Every girl needs a hat in the winter. Especially here in Ottawa where the blistering winds can bring the temperature down to -40 degrees on a given winter day, a hat is essential to maintaining the health of your hair. That wind burn that you feel on your face from extended periods out in the cold waiting a bus or walking to a friend's house also happens on your hair. Although you may not feel the sensation, the friction of your hair shafts rubbing against each other really dries out your hair and leaves it tangly, frizzy and susceptible to split ends.
  6. Gold Pig Bookends - CB2 | $34.95
They're gold, they're pigs and I love reading books. What more is there to need to know.
  7. Kimono - H&M | $99.00
The intricate woven gold details on the shoulders of this kimono exudes femininity yet the black suggests an air of mystery. I enjoy lounging around in sweat pants and sweaters all day but why not kick it up a notch. Sometimes it's fun to "dress up" while you're "dressing down".
  8. Wick Trimmer - Diptyque (Nordstrom) | $41.47
I recently got back into the habit of burning candles and can't help but notice how frustrated I become when the candle burns low into its container and it becomes harder for me to trim the wick with a regular pair of scissors. These pair of wick trimmers, are elegant and allows me to prep my candles without worrying about spilling wax all over myself in the process of it.
  9. Park Slope Vest - Talula (Aritzia) | $110
My outfits usually consist of a sweater and a pair of pants to keep me warm day in and out. However I wanted to be able to still wear my lighter pieces of clothing yet remain just as warm. I love the look of a thick furry vest over top of a clean silk blouse, especially if the vest hangs a little over the waist line.
  10. Classic Q Natasha Bag - Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop) | $399.10
I don't have a simple black carry-all bag, case closed.

September LustListt

With Fall just around the corner, my tendency in September is to pull for lots of leathers and jewel tones. Evidently with the grand opening of Target across Ottawa tomorrow morning, featured on my LustListt this month is the 3.1 Phillip Lim Satchel. Much like the shape of his coveted Mini Pashli Satchel that retails for $650 CAD, this retails for $34.99. At such a steal, I can't help but NEED this in my closet. It's about time I expand my purse collection beyond the neutrals anyways. I had the chance today to see in person up close the quality of the entire 3.1 Phillip Lim collection and the price points are literally on point. Although the purse is not constructed of leather, the polyurethane is thick and buttery soft. The warm mustard tone personifies the colors of fallen leaves which further pulls that Fall feeling into my wardrobe. Now to set my alarm clock for 5 AM in order to wake up on time for the Blogger Breakfast and line-up for my satchel!

Refresh

With so much more time on my hands now that I'm on my final semester of my degree, I felt that now would be an appropriate time to remove the hiatus. My aim is to post twice a week and to keep the consistency.

With the recent grand openings of Target in Canada, I jumped on the chance when Billings Bridge Shopping Mall invited bloggers to a celebration breakfast! What better way to welcome theLustListt back into the bloggersphere than by joining me in a sneak peak of the new location in a pre-open tour with the Target Canada Spokesperson Lisa Gibson! Tomorrow morning, myself and other bloggers have the chance to access a private pre-open tour of the Billings Bridge location and will be able to share with you how it all looks before the grand opening Tuesday, September 17th, 2013!

I hope that everyone has had a great summer and is equally as excited as I am for fall. See you all tomorrow at Target!
