A Breakthrough

As much as it has snowed lately, the weather has lightened up a little bit, making it possible to go outside for a few minute without running the risk of getting your socks wet. Since moving to Toronto, I've noticed such a drastic change in temperature fluctuates in comparison to Ottawa. One morning it could be snowing 10 cm, and the next morning it's already raining and melting/washing all of the snow away. It seems that the temperature can't stay constant especially in the downtown core. With a busy flow of traffic, not only is the environment fast paced but the weather too.

In order to stay warm, I've tackled the issue with layering. I'm not the best layer-ist since I'd love to just throw on a sweater and call it a day, but the recent changes in weather has really pushed me towards my creative side in order to deal with this situation. Fortunately for me, many of my jackets/coats have ample space to afford multiple layers, making them themselves perfect for layering as well. After discovering that I can style my outerwear into my outfit as opposed to just a means of staying warm, I've noticed an absence of variety in my closet. Will this entail future outerwear purchases? Only time will tell.
