Black on Black on Black

On lazy and uninspired mornings, I often reach for an all-black outfit to simplify my decision. Black is completely inconspicuous and can easily be put together to form a complete outfit that's both comfortable yet relatively fashionably acceptable.

I woke up late this morning and wound up feeling ridiculously lazy and with no care as to what I would wear to work. Wearing sweats into work however, was not an option, so I went for the next best possibility - black sweats.

This Lululemon sweater is one of the most comfortable cover-ups that I own, and with a funnel neck collar, I have no need for scarves! I paired the sweater together with a loose tank, as well as my favorite black pleather pants. Playing with different textures made the overall look less "lazy" and a little bit more put together.

I completed the outfit with a pair of thigh-high grey boots which have gone through quite a bit. When I first unearthed them this year, the were covered in salt stains that warranted a good washing. And although I tried to get rid of them, they were so deeply ingrained into the leather that I'm now going to have to find a new pair to replace them. Fortunately the lasted me for almost 4 years, so I got a decent amount of time to wear them thin.
