I dislike the chillier temperatures, but I love the colors of the changing leaves! One of my favorite past times as a child was raking leaves in the front yard with my younger brother. And then after we'd created a pile of crunchy leaves (yes we jumped in it like any child would), we'd throw it all into a giant orange pumpkin garbage bag to decorate our lawn with for Halloween. Who said that composting couldn't be fun?
Now that we've gotten older, I haven't had the chance to do that in probably over 10 years. And the fact that I'm now in a city 5 hours away from my family makes me miss my childhood that much more. In the meantime I'll enjoy fall vicariously through my memories in hopes of recreating them again one day.
